At the Confederation of British Metalforming's (CBM) recent in-house exhibition, we had the distinct honor of being the first supplier to give a presentation that took a realistic and pragmatic look at the opportunities and limitations in our industry.

At the 14th edition of InnoTrans, the world's leading trade fair for transportation technology, voestalpine Railway Systems, a sister company of the voestalpine Wire Technology companies, presented groundbreaking innovations. We were there and appreciated the valuable discussions with customers.

In 2024, voestalpine Wire Technology received the first ball bearing approval for its wire products. Teamwork, technological expertise, strong customer relationships and the CC4 continuous casting plant made this possible. You might not think at first that wire becomes a ball in a ball bearing.
