Nothing works without our IT nervous system, whether it’s the fully digitalized production facilities such as the most advanced special steel plant in the world, 3D-printed components, comprehensive maintenance and provision of all devices, customized Cloud and software solutions for the companies, or pioneering AI models.

That’s why we live and love diversITy every day at voestalpine: more than 50 different careers with a wide range of entry levels—whether as an apprentice, in support or IT infrastructure, through the SAP trainee program, as a junior/senior consultant or BI specialist, whether as a data engineer, data specialist, in administration or as a career changer. This diversITy is unique to us—because together we create more opportunities.

Our 1,600 IT employees are the innovators and supporters who are the first point of contact for assistance with IT problems large and small in the 500 Group Companies in 50 countries around the world. What many people don’t know: We have an internal international expertise and service company in voestalpine group-IT.

Boundless spirIT: IT colleagues in the operating entities, the holding company, the divisions and voestalpine group-IT work closely together across borders in a culture of equals and with a shared vision. This culture of cohesion can be seen and above all felt in the oneIT program. The active and globally networked oneIT community met in person for the first time in Linz in summer 2023 for a joint kick-off.
